Posibilities of Measuring Job Satisfaction Among Police Officers: Dantzker´s Job Satisfaction Scale Adaptation for Slovak Police Environment Using Factor Analysis

This article is focused on verifying the possibility to use American Job Satisfaction Scale among Slovak police officers population. The core of our study therefore becomes the verification of Job Satisfaction Scale questionnaire’s psychometric indicators, followed by critical analysis of results obtained considering the specifics of Slovak police. Internal consistence values of the Slovak version of questionnaire identified in our study indicate a good reliability of the analyzed tool in our sample. Accordingly, factor analysis indicates the existence of three factors, also showing a good reliability.
