Vulnerability of Postmodern Society

The article is focusing on phenomenon of social vulnerability, relating to postmodern consumerism. Basic objective follows primarily contributing to give an overview of the specific risks of ecological hazards, consuming natural resources and world population trends, representing one of the most important threats for global security. The attention is concentrating on various effects of “risk society” which have crucial impact on the regional and international stability, human security and environmental sustainability.
