The Current European Immigration Crisis – Legal and Security Preview

The aim of the article is to give a comprehensive insight into the current fundamental problems of common asylum and immigration policy of the Union in the context of the current migration crisis. The article deals specifically with the “exodus” of illegal Muslim migrants to the territory of the European Union and the evaluation of the effectiveness of applied instruments of the Union law in this area. The author concludes that despite major problems we should still insist on compliance with the applicable law, both at European and at national level.
